Shipping box is about roughly 86" x 12" x 8". Fits easily in minivan without rearranging much. Pretty easily loaded by two people. Packaging way above expectations. Each part individually wrapped, shrink-wrapped, and laid out for each assembly step. For the low $200s total shipped price, it's the best deal I found after months of price and feature comparisons.

It is not commercial quality, but it is sturdy. For home use it seems to be ok, but is a little high priced for home quality equipment. No damaged parts when it arrived and assembly went very smooth and easy. If I had it to do over, I would probably save up a little more money for a more heavy duty rack. All I use it for is for light squatting, so it serves its purpose for now.

Bought this for bench pressing solo and I wanted a safety net. Rack was simple to put together with a couple wrenches. I use it for bench pressing and chin ups and it is sturdy and stable. I have been using it for about 8 months now and have had no problems.

Luke Keating, of fitness review site, MyGymExpert, named Body-Solid’s GDCC210 Functional Training Center as the top weight-stack home gym, with the gym receiving MyGymExpert’s highest honor of five stars.

"In this price range, not much can compete with the Body-Solid Functional Training Center GDCC210 in movement based exercises."

Keating reviewed the GDCC210‘s durability, pulleys, weight stack and attachments. The GDCC was lauded for its wide versatility, space-saving design and price.

"The basic yet space saving design is built to last, if you use this machine properly then it should last a lifetime. It will withstand regular and heavy use; it will also feel very stable whilst using heavy weights or performing pull ups."

I've had many benches through the years by York, Weider, Northern Lights and I got rid of all of them when I got this one. The design details are simply better making it more useful for me. It's solid in all positions, the padding is neither too soft nor too firm and the cover is first rate in quality and durability. I especially like the fact that the base pad can be adjusted to keep the angle at 90 degrees with the upper pad. That means less back strain when doing inclines. It's one of the only benches in this price range to have this feature. Most benches lower pads simply don't go high enough. I've had mine for about 5 years now and it still looks new. If you are looking for a sturdy bench for a rack system at home, you won't find anything better in this price range. No need to look elsewhere.

This machine is great to use, very ergonomic and natural. The rock climbing grips are an especially nice touch, and the variety of different hand positions available is wonderful. Once it is set up, it is easy, natural feeling and provides a great workout. Would give it 5 stars except..

The counterweight for the knee pad needs to be about 25-30lbs heavier. When you pull the pin out to change the weight stack, the knee support will drop on top of you if not supported, which could injure someone who wasn't expecting it...and if you leave it down same problem, except now you have to reach around it awkwardly. Our gym's fix was to tie together the top 3 weights in the stack with hose clamps, temporarily, until we can have a machine shop make us a U-shaped pin to accomplish this same task. That way, the knee support stays up when the pin is pulled. But on a nice expensive machine like this you shouldn't have to fix it when it's new. response:

It is possiple that you have not properly followed the assembly instructions for this machine.

In Step 5, part H of the instruction manual the weight stack column is attached to the cable giving the knee pads a 15lb. counterbalance. Our tests have shown this is an appropriate amount of counterbalance.

Have been using this for a couple months or so now - it exceeds expectations in quality and function. Retiring from 30 years Navy service, I am spoiled to have had top of the line gyms to keep fit in. Now retired to the mountains of NM and 100 miles away from the nearest facility, this was a must. With a few adds, I am achieving complete workouts comparable to those in the base gym. Cardio and legs are fully worked hiking the Mountain with leg extensions and curls rounding out that effort with the 2500S. Very glad this design was available - it has checked a box and will keep me fit for years - so I can enjoy retirement! Thank you Body Solid!!

What my customers like the most about the GDR60 Dumbbell Rack that its one of the best racks for its size, durability, quality, and most of all, great price!

The 3rd tier option has been a huge success for our customers. No extra space required to add more dumbbells to the rack.
