More weight, better bones.It is pretty common knowledge that any exercise is going to be beneficial for your cardio-vascular system and overall health. Light cardio workouts and light strength workouts can be beneficial for your entire body and quality of life. However, recent studies indicate that mild physical activity does little to increase bone density. The study found a significant relationship between muscle strength and greater bone density. Strength training is the only way to significantly improve muscle strength. So, if you want to increase your bone density, elevate your strength training.
