The Triceps Extension is used to strengthen and develop the triceps. It can be performed on a bench wih barbells or dumbells, or with a variety of machines or home gym systems. Our example is with a flat bench and dumbell.
START by lying on the bench and grab a dumbell with both hands (or one with each hand). Keeping you elbows about shoulder width apart, and with straigh arms, hold the dumbell up over your forehead.
Bend at the elbows as you lower the barbell behind your head. Keep your upper arms in the same position and pause when your elbos are bent just past 90 degrees. Return to the starting position
