Dips are one of the best bodyweight exercises, some people prefer them to Push-ups including the classic bodybuilders of yesteryear. Like Pull-ups and Chin-ups, Dips force you to lift your own body-weight which stresses your upper-body and builds muscle and strength.

Don't forget about your back when you're lifting, especially if you sit at a desk all day. The amount of twisting, bending, flexing, rotationg and even sitting we do every day puts stress on your back. Kepping your back strong not only improves your quality of life and helps you avoid surgery but also complete your bodybuilding package.
