The Leg Extension is used to large thigh muscles (quadriceps) of the legs. Our example is shown using the GLCE365 Leg Curl/Leg Extension machine.
START by sitting on the leg extension seat with the seat pad and roller pads adjusted so your knees line up with the rotational axis of the leg extension - if your knees are higher or lower than the axis, you risk straining them. The ankle rollers should be just above the front part of your ankles, rather than at the instep or halfway up your shin.
Extend your legs toward the ceiling in a wide arc until your legs are straight, but not locked. Pause then slowly lower to the starting position.
