GENERAL CARDIO HEALTH
Improved cardiovascular fitness through regular aerobic exercise causes the lungs to process more oxygen with less effort.  In addition the heart will pump more blood with fewer beats and the blood supply directed to the muscles increases.  As a result, the body’s endurance and efficiency will increase.
